These sweet souls filled their wedding day with so much love and grace. Not even a rainstorm could keep them from having the best day. Their friends and families (and Joel running through the rain!) came together to transform the barn reception area into the ceremony spot when we realized the rain wasn’t going to let up. It was a beautiful picture of how those around them will be there for them through all the storms of life and messiness of marriage. Marriage is never perfect, but Melanie and Josh showed how much they understand grace which is always the most important thing. These two are going to change the world together and their wedding was just the beginning!

Our wedding day was May 25, 2018, and despite that being the start of Florida’s rainy season and how much I prayed for a sunny day, it ended up raining right before the start of our outdoor ceremony, which was my worst nightmare as a bride! We ended up having to hold our ceremony in the barn instead of outside, and Joel & Sammy went WAY above and beyond their role as photographers in comforting me throughout every step during the change of plans. I seriously don’t know what I would have done without them and their constant reassurance that everything was going to be okay, and I will never forget that!!! The quality of the ceremony photos inside the dim-lit barn was amazing! They knew exactly how to make the moment look as magical as it felt in photos despite the sudden change of plans. And not to mention, the entire course of the day (beginning with the ceremony) ended up not going according to our perfectly planned out timeline, and Joel & Sammy totally made us feel okay with that! They went with the flow of things and reminded us to just take in every moment, and they captured every second of it flawlessly!
