If you’re reading this, we’re so excited because that means we just sent over your wedding photos!

We feel truly blessed to be a part of the best day of so many couples’ lives and surely yours was no exception. Now that you’ve received all of your photos, we just wanted to write up a quick post walking you through your online gallery and give you some helpful tips and tricks to get the most out of it.

Your Online Gallery

When we delivered your gallery, we sent you two links – the first one is called a client link (looks something like: picti.net/prS0s). You should use this the first time you open your gallery because it will designate you as the owner and will give you permissions and features that no one else will have. The second one is a guest link that you should use to share the gallery with everyone else (looks something like: 28northphotography.passgallery.com/-justinandhailey).

When looking through your gallery, get comfortable, grab a cozy drink, and pop on a romantic playlist, and relive the day in all of it’s glory! If you don’t know what to listen to, we’ve curated a Spotify Playlist of songs we think are perfect for this moment 🙂

Within your gallery, there are a few cool features. First, if there are any photos that are a bit too crazy, or you don’t like them for whatever reason, you can hide them from guests. Now, only you’ll be able to see those photos in a separate section at the bottom. Next, you can favorite photos. This comes in handy if you want to group certain photos together to use in an album or print set.

Downloading Your Photos

We highly recommend downloading all of your photos as soon as you can after looking through them. We keep a copy of your photos ourselves, and your gallery is great cloud storage, but it’s always a good idea to have a copy or two yourselves. To download your photos, click the arrow in the top right corner, and then “Download Full Gallery – High Res”. We recommend high resolution for pretty much all uses because the web resolution lowers the quality quite a bit. A simple 32GB flash drive from Amazon like this one should be perfect for storing your photos. The downloaded photos will also be of higher resolution than viewing them directly in the gallery.

 

 

Share With Family and Friends!

Of course, you’ll want to share your photos, so feel free to send the gallery to friends and family! When posting on social media, we would appreciate it so so much if you could tag us on the photo or in the caption to share the love. Instagram and Facebook are the top ways people find out about us, so it’s so helpful when our couples let others know who took their photos.

Printing Your Photos

The final step, and the one we think is the most important, is printing your photos! We believe your photos should live in your home, not just on computers and screens. Within your wedding gallery is a store that has a lot of beautiful print products. This is the most convenient way to have your photos printed! Every item is crafted at one of the premiere print labs in the country and we guarantee they will be the highest quality you can find. You spent thousands of dollars on your wedding photos, so we truly believe investing in the best tangible versions of them is a worthy next step.

For the first two weeks after your gallery is live, you’ll receive an early-bird discount on any of the products. Our favorite items in the store are the prints for hanging on walls, albums for showing friends and family, and photo cards to use as thank you cards or Christmas cards. If you’re interested in a wedding album or photo book, we’d be more than happy to design it for you. We’ll send you a form for you to select your favorite photos, and we’ll handle putting them all together.
